Do the lost stories of our ancestors become a part of us before we are born, or are the stories born from us as we rediscover them? We Exist Triply explores the filmmaker’s family history told by their mother and father and mimed by a sock puppet. The film uses moving and still images varying from old film pictures found around the house to lovingly filmed moments in the heart of the mountains of Galicia, Spain, to examine the filmmaker’s position within their ancestry.
